VOLUNTEER
PACKET

 We are a Dog Rescue Organization, 100% non-profit and 100% No-Kill

About Our Volunteers A major component of our success is that we have so many wonderful volunteers. In addition to saving dogs, our mission aids in the development of young people wanting to “give back.” At any given time, our volunteers can include high-schoolers completing required service hours; kids who otherwise might be alone or even get in trouble after school; individuals required by the court to perform service hours; seniors who otherwise might be lonely; retirees not ready to retire; and people who just love dogs. Quality of Life Our volunteers help give United dogs a wonderful life while they are in our care. Our dogs are walked in a residential neighborhood up to three times per day. They socialize with other dogs out in our play yard; they live in large pens with warm blankets, doggie beds and they have plenty of toys. A common sight every day is a volunteer sitting in a pen with a dog showing them love and compassion.
